This week the conservation work experience volunteers decided to upgrade the caracal enclosure and make it a little bit more exciting.

We planted an old tree stump in the middle of their enclosure for them to climb. We also built a little tunnel for them so that they can hide if they want to.

And, to top it all off we hung up some balls for them to play with. Thank you Niel Longman for bringing them for the cats, all the way from England!

The cats playfully tested their new playground (the tunnel seemed to be a winner) and it left us feeling proud of a job well done!
