Job Title:

Client Travel Administrator

We are looking to hire a client administrator who has a keen interest in conservation, wildlife and travel.

We are a start up in terms of our mentality, our team work in an autonomous manner, which allows them to manage their own time. We have a flexible working ecosystem, that encourages our team members to work remotely but also provides opportunities to meet up and collaborate regularly. The successful candidate will be given a laptop, report directly to our managing director and for most of the time, perform their duties from a work area within their own home, which the company is willing to help set up. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm.

This role would suit an inquisitive person with the aptitude to own tasks quickly and possess a great attention to detail. There will be a lot of admin to manage, which will include working in our own in-house booking system, creating and managing bookings directly with our clients.

As this position grows, we would like to develop the role to the point that they can take on more challenging tasks beyond admin and bookings. The scope for the role allows for rapid progression and continuous training.

The position would also require the management of the team’s calendar to ensure efficiency on the promotion of projects to our academic group clients and assisting to setup appointments and meetings.

The candidate must have excellent communication and social skills, with a constant high level of enthusiasm, well organised and confident in dealing with clients

Job Duties

  • Manage client administration
  • Manage flight bookings and travel arrangements for clients
  • Provide excellent level of customer service to client, pre and post travel
  • Maintain and build on existing relationships with schools, colleges and universities
  • Set up meetings and talks to generate interest for potential study groups
  • Manage team calendar to ensure efficiency in client promotions
  • Generate new leads for group bookings
  • Maintain and grow contacts database
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Attending shows and exhibitions on behalf of the company
  • Improvement of current systems and procedures
  • Producing management reports

Point to note, we are small team, so you must have dynamism to undertake any duties as and when requested

In house training will be given on all aspects.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Seven GSCEs graded 4 to 9 (A to C) or equivalent, including English and Maths.
  • Excellent understanding and skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to operate within the Microsoft Office 365 cloud based working environment and have an awareness of SharePoint document libraries.
  • Excellent communication and social skills.
  • Constant high level of enthusiasm.
